Present Simple: daily habits
Use the present simple for routines, habits and facts. Add -s/-es for he, she and it.

ദിനചര്യകൾ, ശീലങ്ങൾ, സത്യങ്ങൾ എന്നിവ പറയാൻ present simple ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു. he, she, it വരുമ്പോൾ ക്രിയയോട് -s/-es ചേർക്കും.
The form
I / you / we / they + base verb. He / she / it + verb + s.
- I drink tea every morning.
- She works in a hospital.
- They live in Kochi.
Negatives and questions
Use do / does + base verb. After 'does', the verb has no -s.
- He doesn't eat meat.
- Do you like cricket?
- Does she speak Tamil?
Spelling of -s
go → goes, watch → watches, study → studies, play → plays, have → has.
- My brother watches movies on Fridays.
- The baby cries at night.
